SUMMARY Under this project, 300 street & poor slum children will be given Nutrition food, Gift, New Dress, Lunch/Dinner, Toys & Happiness. The Program will be quite unique. For poor street & slum children all this is a dream. But will it be possible. A meal & gifts for 300 poor children life will become a golden memory. We will provide 3 times meal for next 1 year. CHALLENGE The future of poor children in India living along the street is in darkness. Due to a lack of education these children have stolen loot, have addictions, have gone the way of crime. Because alienating gets them from all over the place. These children need love, happiness, counselling and guidance. SOLUTION Under this project, the festival will provide street poor children's dinner, dress, toys and gifts. There will be cutting of cake, face painting, driving electric cars, sharing of gifts, singing and dancing. The kids will have Nutritional and delicious rice, meat, chicken and ice cream in their diet and a soft drink. Dinner and gifts for Street poor children life will become a golden memory. LONG-TERM IMPACT Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust project ''Provide Gift and food to poor children in India'' This exposure will enable kids relax, share gifts, share their experiences, and tell stories in a wonderful new environment outside home for one day with the Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust volunteers. Dinner and gifts for Street poor children will become a golden memory. Everything we do for these kids now will never be erased from their memories.

The mission of the Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League (DSAL) is to unite the Sheriff’s Office personnel, citizens and youth of Alameda County in the pursuit and implementation of initiatives that will reduce crime, better the lives of area residents and enhance the community through action and collaboration with its partners.

Help provide access to quality doctors and natural medicine practitioners, and basic medication and supplementation, to those who most need it and can't afford it. Build quality medical infrastructure. Everyone has the right to good health, medicine, vitamins and healthcare. Two of my favorite nonprofits are in this fund: --Partners in Health, which provides a preferential option for the poor, and focuses on building infrastructure, and on providing free healthcare and medicine, in locations such as Haiti --Natural Doctors International, which provides free natural medicine and naturopathic healthcare in places such as Nicaragua

This project empowers the rural/urban, underprivileged girl students studying at Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust schools in India, by funding their education, noon meal and transportation. Girl students benefited by this project can focus on their studies without a worry about their fees, food and safe transportation to the school.

This Project Will provide a Sustainable Livelihood to 550 marginalized Girls by Vocational skill training of fashion designing, Sewing, Handicraft and Hand Bag making etc. Bank loan will be providing through the project in order to settle self employment unit whereby the marginalized Girls of Rural area will get Better and Golden future. Challenge: According to Indian Government's Report of 2011, the total population of 15 to 24 years old unemployed youth is 46.9 million. Due to unemployment most youth take unethical way for livelihood as prostitution, thievery, smuggling, addiction etc. Solution: The Project will Help the Marginalized, Deprived 550 Girls in providing Employment (or to be Self Employed) by Skill Development ( Sewing, Handicraft, Bag making training etc.) so that the problem of unemployment will end, and Poor Girls of the deprived community will get Sustainable Livelihoods, the Girls will Become self-conscious which will be Helpful to eradicate the social evils from the society.

The problem of orphan/ street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the Deaths of AIDS affected persons, Re-marriage of Widowed/ Divorce women, Absence of love and security, Unwanted pregnancy of Sexually exploited girls; these orphan & street children are left without care and support. These Orphan children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing, begging & participating in anti social, criminal activities. Orphans were without care for food, education, shelter. We have identified orphans & street children and providing food, education, shelter for all orphan children in Orphanage. These children are going to School and providing home tuition, health check-up, medicines, cosmetics, one set of books & 4 sets of uniforms every year. This proposal covers 40 orphans & street children. Every child is being provided with nutritional diet, indoor & outdoor recreation and play facilities and training in crafts and hobbies.

One obstacle that many families face is poverty. For several families, even small fees for school supplies and uniforms can be crippling. By providing a new school uniform for a child, we are taking away one expense and helping to relieve the yearly pressure that some families go through in sending their child to school. This will be of tremendous help to the families and allow the child to proudly wear new school uniforms. Each child will receive a set of 2 custom-tailored uniforms and a pair of shoes. This is s a great way to support the education of children as the children will be able to proudly wear their new uniforms to school.

Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust's primary schools provide children in disadvantaged rural and tribal areas with access to quality education in an interactive and joyful environment. Children are enabled to join mainstream schools, having become confident, independent learners. Access to education in these areas is limited: because it is often locally unavailable, because of domestic and economic pressures forcing children to work, and because it has traditionally not been accorded value. Nearly half of rural children in our area are out of school, and literacy levels are around just 33%. Education is the only ladder for these rural children to climb out of poverty. Children passing out of the school would have received a good quality education with English and computer literacy and holistic development, which would enable them to realize their full potential in any field they choose.

Delivering multiple roles effortlessly every single day, women are undoubtedly the backbone of any society. Doting daughters, caring mothers, competent colleagues and a wide range of many other roles are played by women around us flawlessly and with grace. However, they’ve also been an ignored fraction of the society in many parts of the world. This, in turn, has caused women at large to bear the brunt of inequality, oppression, financial dependability and other social evils. For centuries now, women have been living under bondage that restricts them from achieving professional as well as personal heights. To restore their rightful and dignified status, The Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust has initiated women empowerment programs that provide a solid foundation to nurture the inner strength, creativity and self-esteem of women from all walks of life. With this base well established, women are now able to go out into the world, prepared to handle any challenge with skills, confidence and grace. Homelessness affects people year-round, but the holidays can be an especially hopeless time for those in need. Please join this PS IT effort to provide warmth, health, and safety for someone who would otherwise go without.

The less privileged elders need our love and care. This project will provide meal, medical care and recreation to 279 homeless old age persons. Every day we will provide nutritious food to destitute elder, who are neglected by their families. Due to poverty some families not able to feed these older persons. Among 279 poor old age persons, some of them use to beg at neighbor houses, nearby locations to feed themselves. Our little contribution to the elderly make their world healthy and happy. Your generous contributions help us to provide meals, clothing and medical care to the 279 elders. With this timely support the elders are happy and feel that they are in safety. Indian Women And Child Welfare Trust provide not only food support, we have provided warm clothing and medical treatment for them with love. when they feel that there is some one to care and love them, they are more confident and feel that they are safe and secure.

A third of the Indian population lives below the poverty line, many having to make do with less than a dollar a day. About half of the adult population is illiterate. The majority of people living in rural areas does not have access to clean water, proper wastewater management, or electricity – not to mention schools or hospitals. We want to help break this vicious circle of poor education, poverty, and disease! The donations collected will enable the Indian Women And Child Welfare Trust to build an entire two-storey school. The Indian Women And Child Welfare Trust is an Indian NGO with good local contacts and a great deal of experience that has managed to convince us personally of their sustainable commitment to helping the poor people. The construction of an elementary school in one of the poorest regions in the world will help in a variety of ways: Children will learn to read and write, giving them the opportunity to receive professional training or even go to university. Without an education, these children have barely any chance of breaking out of poverty. Children with reading and writing skills can support their families and increase their independence by making important information accessible. Educating children on the fundamentals of health and hygiene benefits the entire family as well as the community, thus helping the people to help themselves.

There's a notion among the communities that we serve in that girl children are not fit to get educated and pursue their dreams, but should stay home, help the household. Even among the girls who do join school dropout rates on attaining puberty is especially common. Because of this thinking, there's a significant skew in the gender ratio of the children who pass out of school. India Women and Child Welfare Trust empower girl children education by providing education support, noon-meal & transportation subsidies to deserving girl children in the communities we serve in. We try to correct the admission ratio skew by providing more of these benefits to the girl children, thus achieving a 47% of admission as girls overall. We also have no girls dropping out on reaching puberty. Quality education, noon meal and safe transportation motivate parents to admit & continue education of their girls.

Techapalooza- Banding Together to Fight Cancer. Techapalooza is a fundraiser that brings together 7 bands comprised of talented musicians who work in the I.T. sector. The bands perform in front of an enthusiastic crowd who will vote for their favourite band to be crowned “Fan Favourite”…and while rockin’ the night away, we’ll be raising money for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. To date, Techapalooza has raised over $743,000 for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. 100% of the net proceeds for this event go to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, where all funds stay in Manitoba to support cancer research, education and patient support programs.

Increasing political transparency, accountability and engagement in the UK

PROYECTO GUAJIRA 2020 Colegio y Jardin Infantil Santa Cruz, La Guajira. Colombia. Objetivo: US$4,250 Atiende a 25 alumnos de preescolar a tercero y a 17 niños entre 0 y 5 años sin servicios de agua, saneamiento e higiene. ¿Qué queremos hacer? Con el apoyo de Cisco Colombia queremos asegurar que los niños y niñas tengan acceso a los servicios más básicos que les permita tener un espacio donde estudiar y ser cuidados que sea seguro y digno. Para esto nos proponemos:  Conectar la escuela y al jardín infantil comunitario al servicio de agua e instalar filtros para asegurar su calidad  Construir baños adecuados al contexto  Rehabilitar la cocina y comedor para que los niños y niñas consuman alimentos preparados con mejor higiene  Implementamos una campaña de higiene basada en juegos y diversión para adoptar buenos hábitos como el lavado de manos, la higiene personal, el uso del baño y el cuidado del agua. ¿Cuál es la meta? Recaudar en total $30.000.000 COP para el mejoramiento de los servicios e implementación de la campaña en Santa Cruz. Para cumplir este objetivo solicitamos la donación de US$4,250 entre Diciembre de 2019 y Febrero 2020 por parte de los empleados de Cisco que a través del Programa matching Gifts nos permitirá alcanzar la meta propuesta. Al finalizar el proceso (segundo trimestre de 2020) invitamos al equipo de Cisco Colombia a una visita a la Escuela de Santa Cruz para apoyar a WaterAid a dar los toques finales para finalizar la intervención en la escuela! PROYECTO GUAJIRA 2020 School and Nursery Santa Cruz, La Guajira. Colombia. Goal: $4,250 WaterAid is determined to make clean water, reliable toilets and good hygiene available for boys and girls. Our Healthy Beginnings Campaign seeks to improve health and nutrition for over 750 boys and girls with the availability of clean safe water and proper hygiene. We need all the support from the Cisco team to help us reach our goal! With your help we will be supporting the school Santa Cruz, which serves over 42 Children, located in the La Guajira (Colombia’s most northerly region: a vast and wild desert on the Caribbean coast bordering Venezuela). Today there is no water directly being supplied to the school. The students and teachers have to carry water in buckets from a central location and they relieve themselves in the areas surrounding the community. This tough situation creates a health hazard while being a huge burden as well. The total cost of this project is $8,500 USD. The challenge for this campaign is to raise $4,250 USD between December 2019 and February 2020, while taking advantage of the Cisco match to achieve the ultimate goal of $8,500 USD. WaterAid will be supporting this project all along and this venture will conclude with an actual visit to the project in La Guajira, where we will engage with the community who is benefiting from this campaign.
